PCT mile 1

I had the opportunity to go on an adventure of a lifetime. I found out about this little trail called the Pacific Crest Trail. (PCT) The trail is 2663 ish miles long. I thought people are crazy for trying to walk that far. I started to check into it and I was hooked. For a year I researched and learned everything that I could about long distance hiking. I have never been backing packing so I had a lot to learn about. I basically started with zero knowledge of thru hiking and I set out to be come a hiking hero haha. I don't know if I would call it that. By doing what I did I had to become an expert on the subject of gear, surviving on the trail, logistics of food resupply and I had to get in good physical shape.

In Colorado there is 54 14ers (14,000 ft peaks) which me and girlfriend enjoy hiking. I hope to be doing a few of those before the weather gets bad I'll post those photos here...
